"Rheumatological Blues," poignantly captures the raw frustration and isolation of living with chronic pain, rheumatological illness, and disability.
Love, Builder of Worlds is a Dublin-based, London-born artist who uses multiple disciplines to reflect on identity, chronic illness, and social justice. Their work is a testament to the power of creative expression as a tool for survival and solidarity.
With mesmerising drums, haunting melodies, and sombre horns, new single "Rheumatological Blues" conveys the repetitive and debilitating nature of chronic illness, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into a reality often unseen. As a poet, producer, and philosopher, Love, Builder of Worlds employs music, photography, and poetry to create deeply immersive experiences. Unbound by medium or genre, this single follows their punk rock debut, "Scared For The Climate”, highlighting their artistic versatility and unwavering commitment to social commentary.
About the new single, the artist explains:
“This single was made from pain. I made it to reflect my chronic illness struggles and I dedicate it to everyone currently struggling with autoimmune issues—particularly the housebound and bedbound people practising COVID safety,”
A passionate advocate for marginalised communities, Love, Builder of Worlds invites listeners to support the Olólúfè Collective, a creative space for marginalised people to collaborate and practice collectivism.
